Flight Review

A summary of when a flight review is necessary is as follows:
- A flight review is required every 24 calendar months
- A flight review is required unless:
- A flight review was completed in the previous 24 months
- A checkride (including for an instructor certificate) was successfully completed in the last 24 months
- An FAA-sponsored pilot proficiency award program was completed in the previous 24 calendar months (e.g., WINGS)
- A flight review must consist of:
- A review of the current general operating and flight rules of CFR 14 Part 91.
- A review of those maneuvers and procedures that are deemed appropriate.
